Guests undertake to keep  the Villa and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and also undertake to leave the premises in a reasonable state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The villa should be compensated for any damage and breakages that may occur (fair wear and tear excepted). You should leave  a note of any breakages.  A security bond of £150 is payable and held for the duration of your holiday.  This will be refunded the week following your holiday.

2. Bookings

Subject to availability of the accommodation requested, bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The accommodation may only be used by the persons named on the booking form. The number in the party must not exceed that which was booked as the villa rentals are calculated on occupancy.

 3. Payment

A deposit of 20% of the total cost is required to secure a booking. The balance is due at least eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday plus £150 security bond. The full cost of the holiday is payable on any booking made within eight weeks of the date booked. 50% of the fee relates to management services.

In the event that the villa is not re - let then, unfortunately, all monies paid are forfeit and the person booking the holiday will be liable for the full cost of the booking. If the guest finds it necessary to cancel the holiday after the final balance becomes due, whether or not the final balance has been paid, then unless the villa is re-let the guest will be liable for the full cost of the holiday. We strongly advise that you take out holiday insurance against cancellation.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT ADVISORY:  Keep all windows/doors closed when using air conditioning.  Keep the heat out, even in  the evenings it can be warmer outside than inside the villa.  Do not leave lights on unnecessarily

 GAS CH January - March

Gas Cost @ approx 11p/KWH

1M3 of gas costs £2.93

Central heating costs just over £1 per hour of use when boiler is continuously on..  A/C is more efficient. Recommend CH 2hrs Morning & evening if required

Water average £5 per tonne

The total combined weekly allowance for gas/electric is  given in the above table.

CENTRAL HEATING:

A/C units can be used on the heat cycle and should suffice early morning or in the evenings in late spring / early winter when the villa may require a small boost.  Central heating can be activated and is thermostatically controlled via control panel in the hallway. Turn off radiators in unused rooms.  Recommend using CH for two hours in AM and AC heat as and when required at other times.   Although Electricity is very expensive the AC heaters have an efficiency of 3.5.   giving a  KWhr heating cost of around 7- 8 pence per KWt.

In the unlikely event that an excess is used a charge may be made at the owners discretion at the rates shown above.  (Rates may alter but will be representative of the actual cost).

The electric meter is on the front wall of the house.  The water meter is in the driveway.  The gas meter is in the outhouse next to the garage.
